Obama Speech Trumped Any Other Speech--no matter what any media says

Just because Obama is the greatest orator of a generation is no reason to hold other speakers to a lower bar. No one would claim Tiger or Jordan were # 3 just because some rookie had a good night.

About Me

Chad E Burns
I am a happy and content, passionate American liberal. This blog is both my philosophy and my outlet. Some of these posts are long thought out and others are snapshots of emotions and circumstances. Both are me. I am not misreable, I have not had a bad life--but I don't see anything wrong with being honest, reflective and yes--passionate. :) I am a mid 30's male, married to a beautiful African-American woman, and father to a highly intelligent teen-aged son. I was raised a southern Pentecostal/Republican. I have constantly searched for self-reflection and growth. This was brought to fruition through a thorough transformation of my pardigm, religious and political leanings in the very late 90's and early part of the 21st century. At first I tried to "change from within--this led to bitterness and being "taken for granted." I converted to Catholicism, and then a predominately black Baptist church. I am more of a deist who follows Christ, as opposed to an adherant to organized religion. I have found that where religion/faith part from reason and logic, it is best to follow logic and reason and allow your faith to evolve.
